The Pilates Center founders Rachel Taylor Segel and Amy Taylor Alpers, trained under Romana Kryzanowska, Joseph Pilates’ protege and inheritor of his NYC studio. The prolific Taylor sisters well-established and highly respected teacher training program is committed to upholding the ideals of Joseph Pilates and by maintaining the integrity of his work, and passing it down to future generations. It is one of the most comprehensive and intensive programs of its kind, with over 30+ years of active practice; known as the Harvard of Pilates!
