Pilates In Action

Pilates increases flexibility, alignment, and balance, along with core strength. This helps to alleviate back pain, weakness and inflexibility. These techniques correct postural alignment and lengthen and tone the entire body. This form of exercise will benefit all ages, levels, and body types. In particular, Pilates exercises teach awareness of breath and alignment of the spine, and strengthen the deep torso muscles, which are important to help alleviate and prevent back pain.
